And it's not like I use the car helmet as a back-up for guests, I have a few others for them to use (two came with one snowmobile and one came with the other). And both the current HJCs are black with mirrored shields, making them look almost identical, so it's not like one only matches my snowmobile jacket. I have no real justification for having a separate one for each vehicle. The only thing I can really defend myself with is the fact that I use the breathe-box thing on the snowmobile helmet and not the car one. Not that it takes more than 10 seconds to put it in and take it out, but whatever. Dunno, seemed like a good idea at the time, and HJCs are cheap enough that I could buy 3.75 of them for the price of a Shoei. It's not like they take up much space.
